You can share the following data with online service providers or at self-service machines using the online ID function by entering your PIN:

2. Maiden name (only for identity documents issued after 21 June 2012)
3. First names
4. Doctoral degree
5. Date of birth
6. Place of birth
7. address
8. Document type
9. Service- and card-specific identifier
10. The abbreviation ‘D’ stands for the Federal Republic of Germany
11. An indication of whether a specific age has been exceeded or not yet reached
12. Indication of whether a place of residence corresponds to the place of residence being enquired about
13. Religious name, stage name.

This data is not transmitted in full, not automatically, and not every time the application is used. You decide for yourself whether any data is shared and, if so, which data is transmitted. Only the validity details and information on whether the ID card is blocked are transmitted in all cases.
