Whether housing benefit, child supplement, basic income support or maintenance advance - the multitude of social benefits often makes it difficult to keep track of everything. Caritas employees provide personalised advice and support in finding suitable assistance and submitting the necessary applications.
The counselling service is aimed at all people who find themselves in a difficult life situation or have questions about social and financial issues. Caritas is also available as a point of contact for problems relating to health, the ability to work or an impending disability.

Counselling takes place at the Caritas regional centre at Alter Markt 8 in Stralsund. In addition, the counselling team travels throughout the district with the "CariMobil", Caritas' mobile counselling bus, and offers on-site counselling on request.
