From 1 May 2025, photographs for passports and ID cards may only be taken digitally. You have the option of having biometric photographs taken directly at our office. The cost is €6.00.
If you have the photo taken by another service provider, please bring the data matrix code issued by them with you when you apply for the document.
Please note: The digital image file is only used for passport and ID card applications. It is not possible to hand over the images for other purposes.
